Limited edition original photograph 2 of 10.  Printed in sepia, cream mount, hand gilded with gold leaf.  Image 18.5 x 26cm.  Bespoke black wood frame measuring 32 x 39cm with museum quality Artglass and signed certificate of authenticity.

This haunting ruin is nestled high in the woods of Bedham in West Sussex.  Built around 1880 it was a small school that doubled as a church on Sundays. I have met one of the now elderly children that went to school there.  Although the roof has gone the bell tower with cockerel weather vane is still there.  A very atmospheric location amongst the dense woodland.

The lustre of the gold leaf in this artwork changes with the light, an utterly stunning piece that depicts photography as you have never seen it before. The process is something that I have developed myself and enabled me to become a finalist for the VAA Artist of the Year Award 2025.
